1- Professor Electrical Engineering (BPS-21)
01 post, Permanent, Open Merit.
Qualification/Experience: Ph.D. from HEC recognized University/ Institution in the relevant field with 15 years
teaching research experience in HEC recognized university or a postgraduate institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a national or international organization with 15 research publications (with at least 05 publications in last five years) in internationally abstracted journals recognized by the HEC
OR
10 years post Ph. D. teaching/research experience in a recognized university or a postgraduate institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a national or international organization with 15 research publications (with at least 05 publications in last five years) in internationally abstracted journals recognized by the HEC.
Age: 40-45 years.
2- Professor Electrical Engineering (TTS)
01 post, Open Merit.
Qualification/Experience: Ph.D./relevant terminal qualification from a recognized and reputable institution in the relevant field with either 11 years post Ph.D./relevant terminal degree or minimum of 07 years of post Ph.D. experience with at least 12 years of experience prior to the Ph.D. The experience to be counted is to be of teaching/ research in a recognized University or a post-graduate institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a national or international organization. In addition 15 research publications (with at least 05 publications in the past 05 years) in internationally abstracted journals, recognized for the purpose of appointment on Tenure Track by the Higher Education Commission. Age: Not more than 55 years.
3- Director Finance & Planning (BPS-20)
01 Post, Permanent, Open Merit. Qualification/Experience/Length of Service:
(a) Should be Chartered Accountant or holder of at least 2" Class Master's Degree in Business
Administration/Economics or M.Com. (b) At least 17 years teaching/administrative experience in the relevant field in any Government/Semi Government Organization in BPS-17 and above.
(c) Well-versed with use of Computer.
(d) Comprehensive knowledge of Government Financial Rules/Regulations.
Age: 40-45 years.

1. Candidates for the posts of Professor are required to submit 05 (Five) sets of reprints of

required documents completed in all respects. 3. Candidates may obtain application forms from Meetings Section, University of AJK, Chehla Campus, Muzaffarabad13100 by producing Rs. 3000/- on University Challan form available at authorized branches of
Habib Bank in Azad Kashmir OR by sending a bank draft of Rs. 3000/-in favour of Director Finance & Planning,
University of AJ&K, Muzaffarabad alongwith a large size self-addressed envelope affixed with Rs. 50/-postage
stamps. 4. Candidates are also advised to submit attested hard copies of their result cards, certificates, domicile and fee challan etc. alongwith prescribed application form in person or send by mail to the Registrar Office, University of AJ&K, Chehla Campus, Muzaffarabad.
5. Candidates having CGPA in any degree, shall submit marks/percentage certificate along with the application
forms. 6. Only upper age limit is relaxable for in service employees. 7. In-service candidates must apply through proper channel by the due date, otherwise their applications will not be
entertained. 8. Foreign degree holders must provide equivalence certificate issued by the HEC.
9. The services as a teacher in High Schools/ Embassy Schools/ Degree Colleges/ Cadet Colleges will not be
counted as experience for appointment to a teaching post in the university.
10. Preference will be given to J&K Nationals. 11. Applicants for the post of Professor Electrical Engineering (BPS-21) will be entitled to get an additional incentive of Rs. 50,000/-(Fifty Thousand) per month.
12. The candidates applying for the posts of Electrical Engineering must submit their PEC accreditation/ registration
certificate.
13. Incomplete/applications received after the due date will not be entertained. 14. The last date for submission of applications is 30 August, 2021.
